DIY Quilted Picture Frame

Crafting has always been my thang...

...even way back when I was an awkward, lil' elementary-schooler that wore NSYNC T 's because it was "cool".  I tell ya, it's a darn good thing crafting never gets "old" because sportin' the boy band t's is bad enough, and I sure would hate to add on another embarrassing trend that I am guilty of following.

 --------------------------------------------------------------

As a youngin', I only wished to be a craftertise (craft+expertise) just like my momma.  You name it, and she's made it.  Among all of her creations, my favorite has to be her quilts.  I swear, she has sewn the most beautiful quilts.  They are all so detailed and you could tell every stitch was so carefully done.  What can I say, she is a pro.

Now, here I am, years later,
and still hoping that one day
I'll become a craftertise just like my momma.
One day, one day I'll get some quilting lessons.
Until then, my easy DIY projects will have to do.

I really enjoyed this one.
Sure, it's a cinch, but it was a blast.
And, if I do say so myself,
it looks pretty darn cute in my kitchen.

The best part:  it took all of 5 minutes.

All you gotta do is select a picture, frame, fabric,
and work some magic with the glue...
and TA DA!

Easy peasy pie.

XOXO.

  3. This is a fantastic idea. It isn't easy for me to make these kinds of things (not talented with a sewing needle or machine) which is why I love not only reading about how you made this but I appreciate the talent it takes! It's beautiful.
