Margaritaville

T.G.I...  oh wait, it's Thursday.

Hope everyone had an awesome Thursday.  Couldn't have been too crappy considering it's Cinco de Mayo.  I'll be honest, I did do some celebrating.  This celebrating the holiday business was no crazy experience.  If you count slurping two 1.99 margaritas a celebration, then I guess it was.  Anyways, they were beyond yummy.

I hope that you all had your fair share of celebrating today.  Because I am a huge fan of the good ole margs, I figured I would share some awesome recipes for some good margs.  I can't help but think that summer is so very close, so it is time to gather those drink recipes.

Key West Margarita:

 1 1/2 oz tequila
1 oz melon liqueur 1 oz Pina colada mix 1/2 oz lime juice (or substitute 1/2oz Margarita Texas Mix)
1/2 oz orange juice 1 dash grenadine 1/2 cup crushed ice

Chocolate Margarita:

1 1/2 oz tequila (any kind)
1 oz Godiva liquor   2 tablespoon chocolate syrup
3/4 oz cream or half and half
2 oz orange juice 1/2 oz lime juice (or substitute: 1/2 oz Margarita Texas Mix) Stirrings Cocoa Rimmer Ice

Margarita Sunrise:

1 lime, cut in half 3 cups cracked ice  1 cup tequila Granulated sugar  1/4 cup powdered sugar 6oz. package frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed

XOXO
