A day in Carytown.

Quaint.  Artsy.  Diva-licious.
These three words just about sum up my day.
...if you can count diva-licious as a "real" word.
Lemme just say, it's "real" in my dictionary.
Webster, you gotta step up your game because diva-licious is a 500 dollar word.
It was a well-spent day in Carytown, an artsy and quaint little old town area right outside of the city.  There are some cute boutiques, restaurants, and more in this town.  I spent the beautiful afternoon with my friend Kim and her daughter Gracen.
First stop:  Nacho Mama's

Wow, their margs are to die for!  I started with the strawberry margarita, and then, I had the highly recommended pink lemonade one.  Yummy!  Lets just say, I will be going back.  Their food was delish, too.  I had the cheese enchiladas with rice.  Good stuff!
Aside from the shopping and dining, I did notice one thing that really tickled me about sweet lil' Gracen..
Gracen is a model-in-the-making.  Let me tell ya.
Watch out, Tyra.  She's the next America's Next Top Model.  Girl's got it going on.
And, I'm not just saying that...she really has got it going on.

Gracen and I wanderin' the streets of Carytown.

See, now don't y'all see what I mean?
She's a natural.

Would you like a cup of tea?

Good afternoon, lovelies.
I love Sundays.  Just total laziness, and I don't even feel guilty about it.  Maybe it's the cloudy weather that makes me feel like it's okay to stay indoors?  Whatever...  I am sitting still in my bed blogging and will probably pick up where I left off with Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang.  You know how I adore her books.  Her sarcasm makes me literally lol.  Borderline embarrassing.

So, close to home there is a place called Lavender Fields.  It's owned by an Australian family, and they couldn't be any sweeter.  I visited their cottage-styled houses that are surrounded by well, lavender fields.  Talk about a wonderful place to snap some photos.  Anyways, here's their link if you're interested:  Lavendar Fields Website

We had tea and other yummy foods that were just so delightful.  Here are some pics.

Behind my lens

Good evening, lovelies.
Can I just start by saying I love, love, love, love, love photography. This week, I have been hopping from one antique shop to another with one of my good friends.  We've been on the search for random props for
vintage-themed shoots that will be coming up in the near future. We aren't "pros" or anything, but we sure do have a good time using our imagination and putting everything together to have a good finishing result.

So, I figured I would show y'all some images I took of two of my sweet neighbors. They are beyond precious, and I think you'll agree with me after seeing these darling beauties.  Enjoy.

I hope that you all have a wonderful Friday night.  I'll be out getting drinks and catching up with an old friend.

XOXO.
